Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about eligibility, IP ownership, submission clinics, and the roadshow tour.
Who is eligible to participate in Future Now Roadshow?
Any young person aged 18 to 35 in Oyo State can participate. For 'Build for Oyo' and 'Farm Smart Oyo', entry is as a team of 2–5 members. For 'Oyo's Most Creative', entrants must be individuals aged 18–35 who are indigenes of one of Oyo State's 33 LGAs. Attendance at the roadshow stops is free and open to all.
Does it cost any money to register, enter or attend?
No. Everything in the Future Now Roadshow is 100% free. No application fees, no voting charges, no ticket costs. We exist to open doors, never to charge young people.
Do I keep the intellectual property (IP) of my work or idea?
Yes, 100%. Entrants retain full ownership of their intellectual property. You only grant the programme a non-exclusive licence to showcase your work during exhibitions, broadcasts, and reporting.
How does judging and public voting work?
Final scores combine 70% independent expert panel judging and 30% verified public voting. Public voting is strictly capped at one vote per category per verified phone or email to prevent bots and vote-buying.
